What makes it quick

Nothing exotic — just the things a WordPress site actually needs, set up already.

🚀
LiteSpeed, not Apache
Every plan is served by LiteSpeed. It matters most for WordPress because of LiteSpeed Cache: a cached page is returned from memory by the web server itself, without starting PHP or touching the database at all. That is a different thing from a caching plugin, which still has to boot WordPress before it can decide to serve a cached file.
⚡
NVMe and OPcache
PHP 8.3 with OPcache in front of NVMe storage, for everything the cache cannot serve — wp-admin, the checkout, a logged-in visitor. Most of what makes a WordPress site feel slow is disk and PHP, and both are handled before you install a plugin.
🔄
Automatic core updates
Security releases are applied for you. Plugin and theme updates stay under your control, because those are the ones that break layouts.
💾
Daily restorable backups
A bad plugin update is a restore, not an evening. Roll back files, the database or both from DirectAdmin.
🔒
Free SSL and HTTPS redirect
The certificate is issued on install and renews itself, with the redirect already in place so you are not serving mixed content.
📦
Free migration from any host
Hand us your current login. We copy the site, test it, and only then ask you to move the domain.
🛡
WAF and malware scanning
Included from Professional up: rules that block the common WordPress exploit attempts before PHP is ever reached.

NVMe and WordPress

What NVMe actually changes for WordPress

"NVMe hosting" is on every host's feature list and is usually just a word. Here is what the storage under a WordPress site is and is not responsible for, so you can tell whether it is your problem.

🗄
WordPress is a database application
A page view is rarely one query. A stock WordPress page issues dozens; a WooCommerce product page with filters and related products can issue hundreds, and each one is a small random read. Random reads are exactly what NVMe is faster at than SATA SSD — typically by a factor of five or more in queue depth, which is the number that matters here rather than sequential throughput.
⏱
Where you see it: TTFB and wp-admin
Two places, mostly. Time to first byte on an uncached page, because that is the database round trip you cannot avoid. And wp-admin, which is almost never cached — the post list, the media library and the plugin screen are the parts of a slow site the owner actually feels every day.
🧱
OPcache and PHP 8.3 in front of it
PHP compiles your theme and plugins on every request unless OPcache is holding the compiled bytecode, and on a plugin-heavy site that is more of the page time than the database is. Both are configured already; you do not install anything.
📦
10, 50 or 200 GB of it
Starter is 10 GB NVMe, Professional 50 GB, Enterprise 200 GB — all the same storage, differing only in how much. A typical blog with a few hundred images fits in Starter with room to spare; a shop with a photographed catalogue is the usual reason to need Professional.
🚦
When NVMe is not your problem
If the site is slow on a cached page, storage is not the cause: it is a render-blocking script, an oversized hero image, or a third-party tag. We would rather say that than sell you a bigger plan — measure with the Query Monitor plugin before assuming it is the host.
🔁
LiteSpeed Cache, from Professional
Server-side caching and the CDN are included from Professional up. Because the cache lives in LiteSpeed rather than in a plugin, an anonymous visitor is answered before PHP starts, so the database is out of the path entirely. Logged-in users and checkout pages still reach it, which is why the storage underneath still matters for a shop.

Every plan runs WordPress well. Starter suits one site; Professional adds unmetered bandwidth, caching and a staging copy for when a shop starts to grow.

Questions

WordPress Hosting answered

Yes, LiteSpeed serves every plan. The free LiteSpeed Cache plugin is what lets WordPress talk to it — install it and the server starts answering cached pages itself, before PHP runs. It also handles image optimisation, critical CSS and lazy loading, so it usually replaces two or three plugins you already have. Server-side caching is included from Professional up.

NVMe, with nothing behind it. Your files and your database live on NVMe SSD on every plan including the $4.99 Starter — it is not a cache tier in front of spinning disk, and it is not reserved for the expensive plan. There is no cheaper tier on slower storage, because we do not run one.

For the uncached work — the database round trip behind time to first byte, and wp-admin, which is almost never cached — the difference against SATA SSD is large, because those are small random reads. For a page that is already served from cache, it is close to nothing, because storage is not in that path. Anyone quoting you a single percentage for "NVMe hosting" is quoting a benchmark, not your site.

It is one click away. From DirectAdmin you pick the domain, the site title and an admin password, and the installer does the rest — database, wp-config, SSL and the HTTPS redirect included. It takes about thirty seconds.

Professional. A shop needs unmetered bandwidth, the caching layer and the staging site, and it benefits from the WAF. Starter is fine for a blog or a brochure site but will feel tight once you have a catalogue and checkout traffic.

Yes, free on every plan. See free website migration — we move files, database and email, and there is no downtime because the domain moves last.

No. It is a normal WordPress install and you have full file and database access. We block nothing except plugins known to be malware.

PHP 8.3 by default, and you can select another supported version per domain from DirectAdmin if an older theme needs it.
